TiviMate IPTV Setup: Add a Playlist, Configure the Guide, and Improve Playback

TiviMate - Voostream IPTV guide

TiviMate is designed mainly for Android TV and television-style navigation. It does not supply channels; you add a playlist or account from a provider that supports the format.

Add a playlist

  1. Open TiviMate and choose Add playlist.
  2. Select M3U URL, Xtream Codes, or the method supplied by your service.
  3. Enter the complete URL or the server, username, and password.
  4. Save the playlist and wait for categories and guide data.
  5. Open one live channel before changing the layout.

Keep the URL private. Read the M3U guide or Xtream Codes guide if you are unsure which fields to use.

Organise the guide

Set the correct device time zone, refresh the EPG, and hide groups you do not use. Add regular channels to favourites so you can reach them quickly. A clean list also makes it easier to notice whether a problem affects one group or the whole account.

Premium features and expectations

Paid player features may add recording, multiple playlists, or deeper guide controls, but they do not improve the provider server or your home network. Test basic playback before paying for extra app features and check the current app listing for supported functions.

Fix buffering

Test the same channel on another player or device, compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet, and pause heavy household traffic. If one channel fails, the source may be the issue. If every channel fails, use the troubleshooting guide to check the device, network, account, and provider in order.

Keep the account private

Do not post screenshots containing the playlist URL or credentials. Remove unused playlists and profiles, keep the app updated, and review the service’s support and refund terms before renewal.
